Radiation Cans, pack of 2

Investigate the absorption and radiation of energy on different surfaces. Students fill both cans with water and place a thermometer in each. They then turn on light at 10cm distance and observe how temperatures respond differently in the black can and silver can. In a reverse experiment, the rates of cooling can be determined after the light is turned off.
